The Itinerary

Winnipeg, Manitoba's capital, is one of Canada's most underrated cities. The Forks (confluence of the Red and Assiniboine rivers) has been a First Nations meeting place for 6,000 years.

The Canadian Museum for Human Rights, designed by Antoine Predock, is an architectural masterpiece. The Exchange District (33 nationally designated heritage buildings) holds the best restaurants, breweries and galleries. The Esplanade Riel walkway hugs the Red River. In winter, the Red River skating trail is the world's longest naturally frozen skating trail.
