The Itinerary

Dauphin, Canada's Ukrainian capital, hosts Canada's National Ukrainian Festival (CNUF, August), North America's largest Ukrainian festival since 1965.

The region was heavily settled by Ukrainians (1890s–1920s). Selo Ukraina ("Ukrainian village") is a reconstructed historic site. The Manitoba Sports Hall of Fame is also here. Lake Dauphin offers beaches and fishing. En route, Vermilion River valley and escarpment lookouts.
